As patients living with pain, we can regain control over our lives by learning how to engage with national advocacy groups, such as those you will find in the many helpful links and pages in this section of the website. Together we form a united effort to change the way pain is “perceived, judged, and treated” as outlined in the Institute of Medicine Report “Relieving Pain in America: A Blueprint for Transforming Prevention, Care, Education, and Research.”
